Alphabet foam stamps have arrived in our store! Foam stamps are a very interesting alternative to rubber stamps. These stamps are suitable for large, bold, creative designs rather than tiny, intricate designs. They are ideal for use with inks as well as paints making them great for cards, scrapbook pages, walls, garden pots, stamping larger items etc.

The care of foam stamps is relatively easy: Do not leave foam stamps to soak in water. Take extra care storing foam stamps to protect their surface. Do not use chemical cleaners to clean foam stamps.

Chocolate Velvet Paper

This beautiful acid and lignin free paper has the look and feel of suede but the ease and adaptability of paper. Run it through you ink jet or laser printers. Draw on it with pencils, markers, pens, paints and chalk pastels. Cut it with decorative scissors, punches and die-cuts. Stamp it. Emboss it. Have fun with it!

Available in 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheets. Colours available: Chocolate Brown, Ocean Blue and Wine.

I’m so excited! I love the warm weather! We’ve just received some gorgeous Doublemates card stock in loads of pretty colours. “Spring Green” Doublemates card stock (12″ x 12″) is a beautiful, 90 lb., textured paper that has 2 colors on each sheet. A vivid shade on one side and a rich shade on the other side. They are great for scrap book pages, card making and stamping. These sheets are acid and lignin free, buffered and archival quality. Die Cuts With A View has a gorgeous line of glitter cardstock as well as embossed cardstock. It is real nice to work with. It comes in 12″ x 12″ sheets. We emboss it, sand it, tear it, paint it and just about anything else we think of! We carry a lot of different colours, textures and thicknesses.

These handmade calendars are fun to make and are a gift that will keep on giving all year round! You can personalize it by adding photos, significant quotes, recipes etc. You can also add birthdays, anniversaries and special reminder dates. All cardstock shown in photos and calendars used are available at ScrapWords Scrapbooking Inc.

Supplies Required:

1 sheet 12″ x 12″ medium blue Bazill card stock (#BB328 $ 0.58) , 1 sheet 8″ x 12″ white card stock (#SW701B $ 0.32), alphabet stickers, cotton balls , snowman stickers, glue, double-sided tape , white thread, sewing needle.

Directions:

Mat calendar top page with blue card stock.
Print Snow Cream recipie (see below) on white card stock and tear the edges. Adhere to bottom left corner of page.
Spell “Let It Snow” using the alphabet stickers or die cut letters.
Attach cotton balls using white thread and sew on to the card stock.
Add Snowman sticker. (or use a snowflake sticker).

SNOW CREAM RECIPIE

1 to 3 cups snow (make sure it is clean!)

1/2 cup whipping cream

1 tsp. sugar

1 – 2 drops vanilla extract

In a separate bowl mix together the cream, sugar and vanilla. Slowly add the snow to create the desired consistency. Eat and Enjoy!!
